Wow! What can we say?
It has been more than 2 weeks since the Total School Support Seminar/Exhibition came to an end and the feedbacks have not stopped pouring in.
The event which is the biggest education show in Africa has ended and it was a resounding success with rave reviews from attendees and exhibitors all over the nation. It was an experience of a lifetime for those who participated in the show for the first time.
Did you miss out of the event, or missed out on some of the key moments? Not to worry, we have got you covered. Here is a short review of how TOSSE 2022 went.
Day 1 of TOSSE 2022
We welcomed the Lagos State Honourable Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo, alongside The Keynote Speaker, Mrs. Adeola Azeez, and the Ambassador of Finland to Nigeria, H.E. Leena Pylvanainen, amongst other special guests as they opened the ceremony in style.
The 14th edition of the Total School Support Seminar/Exhibition hosted top school owners, school administrators, teachers, parents, manufacturers/suppliers of educational resources and other stakeholders in the Education sector from Lagos, Abuja, Port-harcourt, Kano, Akwa Ibom, Nasarawa, Ogun, Oyo state etc. We also welcomed visitors and exhibitors from different parts of the world like Finland, Spain, The UK, Tanzania etc. Thousands of participants were in attendance for the first day of the show.
During “The School Business Clinic“, School leaders were engaged by Panelists from Finland, Access Bank, Lagos state Ministry of Education, and NewGlobe Education on matters centered on building a sustainable education ecosystem in Africa. It was a thoroughly enlightening session as to what it takes to build thriving education models.
Other attendees were also treated to an exquisite array of seminar topics facilitated by local and international experienced professionals in the Teachers hall and Diamond canopy.
Day 2 of TOSSE
After a loaded day 1, it was the turn of participants from the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) led by Chairman, Mrs Elizabeth Ariyo, to join in for professional and developmental training.
School Leaders were trained on all fronts as to promote development in the sector, while teachers from the public and private sector were being trained on how to develop themselves as professionals and become change agents from their classrooms to the world.
The closing ceremony ended with a raffle draw winner going home with a N200,000 investment towards a plot of land alongside other consolation prizes.
Other winners went home with N10,000 cash prizes from the dance competition.
TOSSE 2022 was a beehive of activities with participants up-skilling themselves, checking out what’s NEW and purchasing the latest materials from exhibitors, building networks and getting valuable connections. We are sure that long-lasting business relationships were formed at TOSSE 2022.
It is impossible for us to mention all the activities that took place at the colorful event, but it was an experience that no one will forget in a while. We promise to further update you about our upcoming events.
