Reps member Esosa Iyawe sponsors free eye surgery for Oredo constituents,

The member representing Oredo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Engr. Esosa Iyawe, has concluded his 2025 free medical eye treatment and surgery programme, benefiting over 1,000 patients.
Prime Optical Eye Clinic in Benin City was filled with residents eager to receive care under the initiative. Speaking during his visit to the beneficiaries, including those recovering from surgery, Hon. Iyawe said the programme is part of his efforts to give back to society and enhance the wellbeing of his constituents.
“The initiative is aimed at improving health, particularly for my Oredo constituents. Good vision is essential for productivity and quality of life,” he stated.
A team of doctors trained in correcting various eye defects attended to patients, while corrective lenses were provided free of charge.
The Chief Medical Director and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Prime Optical Eye Clinic, Dr. Mrs. Valentina Ideh, commended Hon. Iyawe for bringing relief and smiles to the needy.
Beneficiaries, including Mr. Chika Obidike and Mrs. Ajayi Susan, expressed gratitude, describing the lawmaker as “Godsent” for alleviating the suffering of the people.
