A Decade of Faith and Gratitude: Pottersland School Lagos Celebrates 10 Years of Impact!

Pottersland School Lagos lit up the city with a radiant celebration of its 10th anniversary on Sunday, January 4th, 2026. Embracing the theme “Faithful God, Grateful Heart,” the event transformed into an all-white spectacle brimming with laughter, thanksgiving, and heartfelt reunions.

Attendees described it as a perfect blend of reflection and jubilation, underscoring the school’s enduring impact on education and community.

Leading the charge were CEO and Chairman, Mr. and Mrs. Olanubi, who delivered moving expressions of gratitude. In the address, the CEO, Mrs. Busayo Olanubi recounted the school’s journey over the past decade, she shared, a story that echoed through the crowd and set an inspirational tone for the day; acknowledging the impact and support of her husband.

The festivities pulsed with energy thanks to beautiful renditions by Pottersland’s students and staff.

From harmonious choir performances to spirited instrumentals, these displays captivated guests and highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing young talent alongside academic excellence.

The stage became a canvas of joy, with every note amplifying the theme of gratitude.

The most heartwarming appearance was that of Grandma (Mrs. Olanubi’s mother), whose presence made a significant impression, alongside parents—both veteran and new—as well as longstanding and current staff, who contributed to the warmth and meaning of the moment.

These reunions sparked waves of nostalgia and cheers, fostering a sense of family that has defined Pottersland since its founding. The inclusive vibe turned the venue into a living tapestry of shared histories and bright futures.

Crowning the event was the official launch of the school’s Hymn Book, a collection of worship songs destined to become a cornerstone of Pottersland’s spiritual identity. The book was blessed by renowned gospel artist and pastor Nathaniel Bassey, whose presence infused the moment with profound anointing.

As Pottersland School Lagos steps into its second decade, this celebration leaves no doubt: its legacy of faith-driven education is stronger than ever.

Stay tuned for more on how the school continues shaping tomorrow’s leaders.
