
It was a day of joyful celebration and reflection as Blooming Greens School hosted a dual ceremony to honor its Nursery 2 pupils and the graduating Year 6 class on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025. The event, held at Nikoms Events Centre, Lagos, brought together proud parents, teachers, and special guests to celebrate the academic milestones of the young learners.
The day began with the Nursery 2 Progressive Ceremony at 10:00 AM, where the atmosphere was filled with excitement and pride. The pupils, looking adorable in pink dresses for the girls and black suits with pink bow ties for the boys.
Chief Executive Officer of Blooming Greens School, Mrs. Susan Babatunde-Yamah, delivered a warm welcome address, commending the pupils and their parents for their efforts throughout the academic year.
The pupils rendered beautiful poems and song presentations. Graduands received gifts to mark their progress, and the event concluded by 12:30 PM with cheers and heartfelt applause.
Later in the day, the spotlight turned to the Year 6 Graduation Ceremony, as pupils processed in gold-themed attire, girls in elegant gold dresses, and boys in smart black suits with gold bow ties.
In her remarks, Mrs. Babatunde-Yamah expressed appreciation to her husband for his unwavering support all through the years, without whom there wouldn’t be a Blooming Greens School. She encouraged the graduands to move forward in life with kindness as their guiding principle.
Dr. Ebere Nzewuji, Executive Director, charged the graduating class to embody courtesy, demonstrate discipline, and to maintain good grades and remain at the top as they transition.
The event was rich with artistic performances, including a ballet display, orchestral music, a school choir performance, and emotional farewell poems. Graduating pupils took turns to share memoirs from their journey at Blooming Greens, drawing smiles, laughter, and a few emotional moments. This was followed by the presentation of certificates and gifts to graduands.
The Vice Principal Academics of Blooming Greens High School (BGHS), Mr. Akintunde, warmly welcomed the graduands into the next phase of their academic journey and encouraged parents to support their children in continuing with the BGHS community.
The ceremony concluded on a high note with the cutting of celebration cakes, closing prayers, and jubilant dancing among students, staff, and families.
The combined ceremonies served not only as a reflection of academic growth but also as a vibrant testament to the nurturing environment and excellence that define Blooming Greens School.
