Covenant Child Academy (CCA) marked a major milestone on Monday with the dedication of its Ultramodern school complex. This event drew a large turnout of students, parents, staff, alumni, and invited guests. The event, which took place at the school’s new facility on 36 Teniola Street, Ijeshatedo, was filled with joy, reflection, and celebration as the academy commemorated a new chapter in its 25 Year journey of excellence.
The day began on a spiritual note with opening prayers, followed by a lively praise and worship session, with attendees lifting their voices in gratitude.
A short exhortation was delivered, highlighting the importance of blending academic excellence with spiritual grounding in child development. The school choir rendered both the national and school anthems.
In his welcome address, the Administrative Director of Covenant Child Academy, Apostle. Divine Olise reflected on the school’s humble beginnings, the vision behind the new complex, and the collective effort that made the dream a reality.
A special tribute segment honoured individuals whose commitment and generosity contributed significantly to the successful completion of the facility. Applause filled the air as names were mentioned and accolades were given.
The ceremonial highlight was the formal dedication and ribbon-cutting of the ultramodern complex, which was done by the invited Pastorates, Apostle, and Dr. Mrs. Delight Olise.
Prayers were offered over the new building, symbolizing a fresh beginning and renewed commitment to nurturing future leaders.
The event also featured a book launch written by Dr. Olise and forwarded by Mr. Rotimi Eyitayo titled: The Ever Winning Mindset, believed to document the academy’s journey and achievements.
This was followed by a presentation of awards to staff who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the school’s mission.
The head of School, Mrs. Nneke Elizabeth, was awarded a sum of N1.5million for her commitment to driving the mission and vision of the school for the past 25 years.
A series of student performances, featuring music, dance, and drama, showcased the talents being cultivated within the academy. The celebratory mood reached its peak with the cutting of the commemorative cake, capturing the spirit of joy and accomplishment.
The event concluded with a closing hymn and prayer, after which guests were treated to refreshments and while others took a tour of the new facility.
