UNILAG Announces Details for Upcoming 2024/2025 Academic Session

The University of Lagos has outlined essential details for the upcoming 2024/2025 academic session.

The institution has communicated to all returning students that the academic session will officially kick off on Monday, October 28, 2024, adhering to the published Academic Calendar.

Students can expect lectures for the First Semester to commence on Monday, November 4, 2024.

Due to ongoing renovation works, all university hostels will remain unavailable for student accommodation until the renovations are completed.

In light of the accommodation challenges, First Semester lectures will initially be conducted online through the University’s virtual learning platform, with the timetable for online classes made available as published by each respective Department.

Students are encouraged to take proactive steps, such as ensuring reliable internet access for seamless online learning, setting up appropriate devices compatible with the university’s virtual platform, and regularly checking registered email addresses for updates or additional information.

The vice-chancellor extends gratitude for the cooperation of all students and wishes everyone a successful academic session. Further updates will be provided as necessary.
