{"id":14969,"date":"2025-10-31T15:51:17","date_gmt":"2025-10-31T15:51:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edumarkng.com\/news\/jamb-conducts-third-party-exam-for-hosf-staff\/"},"modified":"2025-10-31T15:51:17","modified_gmt":"2025-10-31T15:51:17","slug":"jamb-conducts-third-party-exam-for-hosf-staff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edumarkng.com\/news\/jamb-conducts-third-party-exam-for-hosf-staff\/","title":{"rendered":"JAMB conducts third party exam for HOSF staff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JAMB conducts third party exam for HOSF staff, <!-- no image -->,  <\/p>\n<p>The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, on Friday conducted promotion examination for junior workers under the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.<\/p>\n<p>The Director in charge of Abuja zone for JAMB, Hajia Zainab Hamzat, made this known while speaking to journalists on Friday, stressing that the exercise went smoothly<\/p>\n<p>Hamzat stated that at least 450 junior staff participated in the computer-based test examination at Ade-Ola International School, Kubwa, a suburb in the nation\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, no fewer than 476 staff under the Head of Service were expected to participate in the promotion exercise, but only 450 workers showed up for the exam.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverything went well as usual. We call it the third-party exam. It is a promotion exam for HoS. All their officers sat for the exam for the purpose of promotion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had two sessions \u2013 morning and afternoon. In the morning, we expected 250 but 232 were present. In the afternoon, we expected 226 and eight were absent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe exam was smooth. Everything went well,\u201d she said<\/p>\n<p>The Director further explained that the examination was for all the junior staff of Head of Service, HoS, adding that they had immigration officers, firefighters, civil defence and other paramilitary organisations under HoS for the examination.<\/p>\n<p>On her part, Director of Ade-Ola International School, Kubwa, Mercy Olaosegbe lauded JAMB for setting high standards in professional examination.<\/p>\n<p>She said, \u201cThe examination went well. We have all the facilities to conduct this examination. JAMB will not allow you to participate in these exams if your facilities are not up to standard.
