{"id":17106,"date":"2026-02-18T07:26:21","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T07:26:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edumarkng.com\/news\/lautech-students-kick-against-relocation-of-departments\/"},"modified":"2026-02-18T07:26:21","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T07:26:21","slug":"lautech-students-kick-against-relocation-of-departments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edumarkng.com\/news\/lautech-students-kick-against-relocation-of-departments\/","title":{"rendered":"LAUTECH students kick against relocation of departments"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align:center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailypost.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/lautech.jpg\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" alt=\"LAUTECH students kick against relocation of departments\" title=\"LAUTECH students kick against relocation of departments\" \/><\/div><p>LAUTECH students kick against relocation of departments, <!-- no image -->,  <\/p>\n<p>Scores of students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso have expressed their displeasure over plans by the institution to relocate two departments.<\/p>\n<p>The students made their feelings known during a peaceful protest within the institution on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The students kicked against planned relocation of the departments of Anatomy and Physiology to the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>DAILY POST gathered that the institution has perfected plans to relocate the departments.<\/p>\n<p>The institution in an internal memo noted that the Senate of the university had approved the relocation of the two departments from College of Health Sciences to Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>The memo was signed by Mrs Olayinka Balogun and copied to the Vice-Chancellor.<\/p>\n<p>The memo reads, \u201cConsequent upon the approval of the Senate, I write to inform you that the Department of Anatomy and Physiology has been moved to the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences.
