JAMB:UTME situation report from Ibadan centers \u2013 Students, , \"\"<\/p>\n

The ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), was largely hitch-free across monitored centers in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

A NAN correspondent who visited some Computer-Based Test, CBT centers reports that candidates commenced their examinations as scheduled, with minimal technical complaints.<\/p>\n

At the Arc Bamidele Samson CBT Centre, a candidate, Miss Adebanke Oyedele, who arrived at about 9.00 a.m., described her experience as smooth and engaging.<\/p>\n

\u201cI started on time, and the examination was very interesting. For me, there was no complaint, though I noticed some others raising concerns,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Oyedele, who aspires to study Mass Communication at the University of Ibadan, projected a score of about 250.<\/p>\n

Similarly, Mr Agwaza Simon expressed satisfaction with the examination\u2019s conduct.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was no system failure or network issue. Everything went well,\u201d she said, adding that she hopes to study Accounting at the University of Ibadan.<\/p>\n

Another candidate, Mr Isak Sherifu, described the examination environment as peaceful and well-organised, noting the absence of technical glitches and commending officials for their professionalism.<\/p>\n

Also, Miss Ayomide Busari noted that her examination went smoothly without any network issues, adding that she intends to study Law at the University of Ibadan.<\/p>\n

A parent, Mrs Olubunmi Komolafe, who accompanied her daughter to the CBT center, confirmed that the exercise was orderly.<\/p>\n

\u201cI arrived before 9.00 a.m., and my daughter started a little after 9.00 a.m.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything has been peaceful, and there are no issues with the internet,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Attempts to speak with a JAMB ad-hoc supervisor at the Arc Bamidele Samson CBT Centre were unsuccessful, as he said he was not authorized to speak with journalists.<\/p>\n

At the JAMB Zonal Office in Ibadan, candidates also began their examinations as scheduled, without any technical glitch whatsoever.<\/p>\n
